Collin Clifford is a San Diego mortgage loan officer with more than $100 million in funded home loans, helping clients navigate VA, FHA, conventional, jumbo, and reverse mortgage financing with clarity and precision.

He is known for a practical, data-driven approach that helps borrowers understand their options, avoid common mistakes, and make sound financing decisions. Whether working with first-time buyers, repeat homeowners, or investors, Collin focuses on creating a smooth, well-structured lending experience built around each client’s goals. He also works closely with real estate agents and financial advisors to keep financing strategy aligned with the bigger picture.

Before joining the mortgage industry, Collin worked in biotech manufacturing at Baxter International, where he helped manage production of proteins used in trauma and burn care, and contributed to Alzheimer’s research at Oregon Health & Science University. That technical background informs the detail-oriented, problem-solving approach he brings to complex files, unconventional income, and high-stakes timelines.

Collin earned his B.A. in Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience from Pitzer College. He lives in San Diego with his wife, Rebekah, and their two children. Outside of work, he enjoys golf, lacrosse, and investing.
